A. Community

The scientific community was developed for its members to communicate, interact and share information with each other. Thus, professionals will have the opportunity to keep in touch throughout the country when needed through this platform.

There are virtual features very useful in the development of communication tools for members, for example, scientific forums, messaging, calendar of activities, comment wall, contact activity, among others.

In addition, its goal for the future is to keep in touch with other scientific networks in this category or related to Food Safety, by sharing points of view with different or more advanced countries, which also generates work opportunities, always focused on our country’s growth in this matter.

B. Virtual Library.

The Network Library is a resource based on the concept of data base for uploading documents on the website. This platform allows a new form of participation, since the community will have access to documentation enabled by the site administrators or members. On this basis, documents will be arranged by thesis, legal documents, regulation documents, projects, publications, books, etc.

C. Opinion and Information Space

One of the main objectives of this project is to create a critical group of experts in matters related to safety, which would be serious and constructive. This group will have the possibility of show its results and its members will share different opinions, by establishing a system with a number of points of view that could be analyzed. This way, conclusions for future suggestions will be obtained in order to advise the Agency.

C. Space of Opinion and Information

The informative nature of the results created through different processes will be shown in the community through Reports of Groups of Experts. In addition, this platform will be used to share ideas through Forums, Opinion Columns, News and Network Library, among others, considering an illustrative system in the area.

D. Virtual Calendar

The Activities calendar is a sophisticated tool, since users can see dates, arrange appointments, create activities, send invitations and messages, search for events, identify either national or international activities and link websites.

This tool was developed as a management plan for users, facilitating and/or saving efforts to promote activities or arrange meetings.

E. Connection among organizations, communities and other interest areas

The Scientific Network expects that every kind of job or interaction is developed by people from different areas, modeling a multidisciplinary system in which the learning based on experiences and collaboration through ideas can get mixed up. Thus, the community is made up of professionals, academics and researchers throughout the country, who work on science matters like health, production, commerce, education, agriculture, diet and many others.
